TRANSFORMER FILTRATION & RECLAMATION SERVICES

TACS offers transformer oil filtering and reclamation for:
a) Moisture
b) Gases
c) Solids
d) Acids
e) Improvement of Interfacial Surface Tension
f) Improvement of Dissipation Factor
g) Improvement of Dielectric Breakdown

Prior to Oil Reclamation three years detailed analysis is required to guarantee that the results achieved after reclamation will remain within Australian standards for five years. The results are guaranteed if the transformer is kept within manufacturer's specifications.

After Reclamation the following results will be obtained:

Moisture: Less than 20 ppm. Our System operates such that at all times the moisture is monitored and maintained at less than 50 ppm due to filtration being carried out "live".

Interfacial Surface Tension:
In Excess of 35 nMn.

Dissipation Factor at 90oc: 0.003%

This is the most important test of all and gives the client the actual electrical properties of the oil. This is carried out at our Laboratory.

Dielectric breakdown: 55 KV.
